Toronto, Canada – November 5, 2025– The Canadian Women’s Chamber of Commerce (CanWCC) is thrilled to announce the launch of the Flip the Script Investment Readiness Program (FTS IRP).
The FTS IRP is a practical training program designed to help women and gender-diverse entrepreneurs take control of their funding journey. Participants will gain the tools and confidence to speak with investors, strengthen their financial understanding, and prepare their businesses for growth and investment. The program is fully virtual, with no in-person or location-based requirements, making it accessible to entrepreneurs across Canada.
Applications are now open and will remain open until December 5, 2025.
Program Highlights:
- A self-paced, practical learning experience, no theory, just actionable tools.
- A focus on mastering the investor conversation, from pitch to due diligence.
- Build knowledge of debt and equity financing strategies.
- Strengthen financial literacy to prepare for sustainable growth and development.
“Flip the Script Investment Readiness is more than a program – it’s a movement toward equity for women. By equipping business owners with tools, language, and financial confidence, we’re creating the conditions for long-term, systemic change,” stated Nancy Wilson, Founder and CEO of the Canadian Women’s Chamber of Commerce (CanWCC).
The Flip the Script Investment Readiness Program builds on CanWCC’s flagship Flip the Script initiative, which supported women business owners seeking financing. This next phase expands access to self-employed and small business owners across Canada, continuing CanWCC’s mission to create a more equitable and inclusive entrepreneurial landscape and building Canada’s new economy.
The program is funded by the Government of Canada’s Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) under the Women’s Entrepreneurship Strategy’s Ecosystem Fund.
