New virtual program helps self-employed women and gender-diverse individuals price their services, communicate their value, and build a more consistent sales pipeline.
– FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE –
Toronto, ON — August 4, 2026 — The Canadian Women’s Chamber of Commerce (CanWCC) today announced applications are open for Sales Strategies for Solo Earners, a free, three-month program for self-employed women and gender-diverse individuals who rely on their business revenue to pay their bills and build financial stability. There are an estimated 1 million self-employed women in Canada, the majority of them service providers. Applications are open from August 4 to August 28, 2026.
The program is designed for entrepreneurs who need more than general business advice. Whether someone is struggling to price their services profitably or trying to create a more reliable sales pipeline, Sales Strategies for Solo Earners is built to strengthen the part of their business that needs the most attention right now — with specific, personalized guidance rather than one-size-fits-all information.
Two tailored paths, one shared goal
Recognizing that no two solo businesses face the same challenges, the program offers two specialized pathways: Price & Positioning, for entrepreneurs still building the foundation of their pricing and offer, and Sales and Systems, for those ready to turn a solid offer into a repeatable pipeline of clients. Applicants don’t need to know which path fits — CanWCC places each participant based on their application.
The free, 12-week program runs virtually across two sessions, Fall 2026 and Winter 2027, and is open to self-employed women and gender-diverse entrepreneurs in Canada’s service sector. Space is limited to 80 to 100 participants for this pilot. An information session will be held August 18, with applications open August 4 through August 28, 2026.
